Well the demolition has begun! That's right. We are building 6 new rooms at DTM. Come down to the West Wing and take a look at what's going on.
The rooms are scheduled to be ready on the 1st of February. Each room will be approximately 16X20, individually climate controlled and sound proofed.

What up Rockers and Rockette's,
Did you guys have fun on Sat? I did. What a kick ass time. Thanks to everybody that showed up, hope you had a good time. I'd also like to say thanks to all the bands that came out to play that night. You guys rocked.
I need to also give a shout out to Chris Soberon of ReelTone Audio for doing all my sound. Your the best buddy! Thanks a ton. Let me know if you would like to get ahold of Chris to lay down some tracks, his studio is the bomb.
There's a few rooms available down here at Music if anybody is interested. Smallest and cheapest room is $275/month. Deposit is $325. This room is 14X15 and has 24rh access.

Halloween Block Party
Hey all you rockers and rockettes!
Only 4 days away from the Halloween Bloc-Party. Have you got your costumes picked out yet?

Hope you guys are ready to rock this weekend, because we have a killer line-up for you.
There is going to be free food and soda so don't miss out.

The show begins at 4 and will go until at least midnight.

October Availablity
Hey band geeks!
We have some new rooms that just opened up this month.
Need 24 hour access? We got it. Room 57, my best room just became available. This room is sweet. It is big 24x29, has an airvent that lets in fresh air and a little light from outside. It is located on the west side of the building and is near the 24hr entrance. Rent is $450. Deposit is $500. Come get it before its gone, because it won't last.
Room 5a is available for $275. This room is 24hrs and is located next to the loading entrance. Deposit is $325.
There are a few others available as well. They range in price from $150 t0 $350.
Come down and check them out. Office hours are from 3pm till 8pm, Monday - Friday. Ask for Matt or Mikey.
Don't forget about the block party on Oct 25th. Tell your fam and friends. This is a costume party you won't want to miss!!! Free food, free music from 8 local bands.

Sorry its been so long since my last post. Things have been quite busy since I got back from China.
Things are going really great down at DTM. We have a few rooms available right now. Come down and check them out.
I wan to remind everyone about our second block party. Its going to be on October 25th from 4pm till midnight. This is an all ages show. 8 local bands will be there. There will be free food and soda. Please come in costume!
So far on the band list: Xur, Massacre at the Wake, Rattlesnake Shake. Achasic, Visions of Infinity, Dead Vessel, Severe Brothers.

Just wanted to remind everyone of the First DTM Block Party.
8 local bands from Downtown will be playing in the parking lot from 11am till 9pm
We will have free food and drinks. The taco cart will also be serving tacos and burritos.
There will be a table set up for CD's, Tee shirts etc....
Bring your family, friends, pets, whatever.
Hope to see everyone there!

July 12th Parking Lot Bash
Saturday July 12th 2008 will the be the innagural Downtown Music SLC parking lot bash.
From 11 am to 6 pm we will be hosting a out door concert/festival. This event will be free and is welcome to all ages. We will be closing off the parking lot and putting up a stage. Taco's al Paisa will be catering. We will also be grilling up hot dogs. Look for a sign up sheet at the start of next week.
All interested parties should speak with Matt no later than June 31st. We will post the bands playing as soon as the spots are all filled. All participants will be asked to donate something, either food, drink or other to help keep everything free.
Hope to see you all there!

To start let me just tell you a little bit about our facility. Downtown Music is a monthly band rehearsal studio located in Downtown Salt Lake City. We have varying size rooms that range in price. Each room comes with standard lighting and standard electrical distribution. We do not offer any equipment with our rooms.
Leases start at 3 months. After this 90 day trial period leases switch to month to month. We do offer hourly and day rates.
Rooms require a deposit equal to one months rent + $50. Fully refundable (less $40 administration fee).
We are located at 833 S. Main St. Call us at 1-(801)-521-0555 to inquire about availability.
